Katrina Kaif bonds with children
Katrina Kaif was spotted in a chirpy and effervescent mood for a change this Tuesday. She made time for her young underprivileged fans for a movie. She watched “Main Krishna Hoon”- a 3D action-animation flick- with them at its special screening at a multiplex in Mumbai.
Asha Kiran- the NGO- sent lots of their underprivileged children to watch the film with Katrina. The kids were seen thoroughly excited to meet their star. They kept jostling before and after the movie, to have their moment with the star.
Katrina also for a moment broke into a spontaneous jig with the kids. Some kept gazing at her, while the others matched her steps.
Katrina has been involved in this film because it has been co-produced by Promila Hunter- her hairstylist.
She has also made a special appearance in the film. She also helped the makers of this film get in touch with Hrithik, who too will be seen doing a special part in this film.
Katrina also agreed to promote the film. On Tuesday, the film’s screening for these children was a portion of the promotions. She looked good in a casual and crisp white shirt. She matched it with deep tangerine colored blazer and black trousers. It seemed at the event that the kids were happier to meet her than to watch the film.
The film “Main Krishna Hoon” has been directed by Rajeev S. Ruia. He earlier made the animation film trilogy of “My Friend Ganesha” for children.
Nothing has yet been disclosed about Katrina’s role in the film. It is being speculated that she will be playing Radha’s human incarnation. Actors Rajneesh Duggal and Juhi Chawla will be seen in the lead roles. The makers, keeping in mind Hrithik Roshan, have created a special role. The makers informed that both the stars- Hrithik and Katrina- did not even hear the script before giving their nod for this film.
Bollywood stars have forever encouraged their staff members in their endeavors. While Katrina Kaif helped her hairstylist for free by doing a cameo in this film, Kareena Kapoor last year made a stint in the song “Chinta ta ta” from “Rowdy Rathore”. It was not because of Akshay or anybody, but for her stylist Shabina Khan who co-produced the film.
The film “Main Krishna Hoon” will be clashing with the multi-starrer venture “Race 2” at the box-office on the 25th of January.
