Katrina Kaif is a Indian Actress born in 16 July 1984 in Hong Kong.

Katrina was born in Hong Kong to a Indian Kashmiri Father, Mohammed Kaif and English mother, Suzanne Turquotte. Her parents got divorced when she was very young. She is having seven siblings. From Hong Kong, they moved to China and then Japan. Then from Japan to France when she was 8 and then moved to Switzerland, Kraków, Berlin, Belgium and many other East European Countries where she and her family were there for a few months each. Then they moved to Hawaii then to her mothers home country, England. She only lived in London for three years before finally moving to Mumbai.

She also appeared in Telugu and Malayalam films. She was voted the sexiest Asian women in the world by Eastern Eye in year 2008, 2009 and 2010. Being a British citizen, she works in India on an employment visa.

Career
Kaif began her modeling career at the age of fourteen. She did her first job for a Jewelry campaign. Shen then continued modeling in London under a contract with Models 1 Agency and did campaigns for houses such as La Senza and Arcadius, and even walked on the London Fashion Week.

Her first film was Boom in year 2003. She moved to Mumbai and was offered a number of modeling assignments. Initially all filmmakers were hesitating because she could not speak Hindi.

She then came in film Sarkar in 2005 with Abhishek Bachchan, which was a moderate success. Then she came in film Meine Pyaar Kyun Kiya opposite to Salman Khan.

Katrina Kaif is one of eight siblings, all girls, from a mother who is a Caucasian of British Nationality, and a father who was formerly from Kashmir, India, but who has since acquired British citizenship. Her mother is now re-settled in Chennai (formerly known as Madras), the Capital of the state of Tamil Nadu in India.

She spent subsequent years in Hawaii, and then in London, Britain, She started modeling accidentally when she was in Hawaii at the tender age of 14, when she was approached for a jewelry campaign. Thereafter she continued modeling in London.

Continuing to model was the reason she got her break in a Bollywood movie 'Boom' offered by none other than film-maker Kaizad Gustad.

Katrina and Ranbir Kapoor to work together again

Katrina’s secret late night visit to Ranbir’s house

This is not the first time that Katrina Kaif made a secret visit to Ranbir’s abode in the dead of the night. It has happened in the past too and still continuing. Though the couple denied being in a relationship, they are very often spotted spending night together. On Thursday night, Ranbir Kapoor paid a visit to Sanjay Dutt’s house after the court verdict to express his solidarity. He reached at Sanjay’s residence around 10: 30 pm and exited his house at 1:30 pm.

Some shutterbugs followed Ranbir Kapoor's house after he left Dutt’s residence and what they seen on reaching Ranbir’s residence is that a familiar black Audi, numbered 8822 which belongs to Katrina Kaif was parked outside the Kapoor’s residence. When the ‘Barfi!’ actor’s car entered the gate, Kat was seen entering his house.

“The two cars made an entry into Ranbir’s bungalow at around 1.45 am before the gates were shut by the guards,” says an eyewitness.

Katrina’s nocturnal visit to this particular Pali Hill household is not a new affair. In the past too, Kat and Ranbir spend quality time together at his residence. Ranbir’s parents Neetu and Rishi Kapoor too accepted Kat as Ranbir’s life partner.

“They are both single and allowed to see whoever they want. Then why play these games with the media? In fact, going public about their relationship status will only earn them more respect,” says an industry insider.
